তরুণদের মধ্যে সংহতি, উদ্ভাবন এবং টেকসই উন্নয়নের চেতনা বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে ৩০ জুন ২০২৫ তারিখে মরক্কোর ঐতিহাসিক শহর মারাকেশে উদ্বোধন হয় ওআইসি ইয়ুথ ক্যাপিটাল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল প্রোগ্রাম ২০২৫ এর। কোভিড-১৯ পরবর্তী সময়ে মুসলিম বিশ্বে যুবসমাজের সম্মুখীন বহুমাত্রিক চ্যালেঞ্জ ও সম্ভাবনার আলোকে এবারের অনুষ্ঠানটি সাজানো হয়েছে।

ওআইসিভুক্ত বিভিন্ন দেশের মন্ত্রী, যুবনেতা, নীতিনির্ধারক এবং কূটনৈতিক প্রতিনিধিদের অংশগ্রহণে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে বাংলাদেশের পক্ষে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় যুব ও ক্রীড়া উপদেষ্টা জনাব আসিফ মাহমুদ সজীব ভূঁইয়া।

উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন মরক্কোর যুব, সংস্কৃতি ও যোগাযোগ বিষয়ক মাননীয় মন্ত্রী মোহাম্মেদ মেহদি বেনসাইদ। তিনি তাঁর বক্তব্যে বৈশ্বিক যুব সংলাপ জোরদারকরণ, সামাজিক উদ্যোক্তা বিকাশ এবং সাংস্কৃতিক কূটনীতির প্রসারে ওআইসি দেশগুলোর মধ্যে সহযোগিতা বাড়ানোর উপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে ছিল একাধিক তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ আয়োজন, যার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য ছিল অংশগ্রহণকারী মন্ত্রীদের নীতিনির্ধারণী আলোচনা এবং ওআইসি সদস্য দেশসমূহের বৈচিত্র্যপূর্ণ সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশনা। পাশাপাশি, অংশগ্রহণকারী দেশসমূহের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা বিনিময়ের লক্ষ্যে যৌথ উদ্যোগের আহ্বান জানানো হয়, যা ভবিষ্যতে ওআইসি প্ল্যাটফর্মে যুব উন্নয়নের অংশীদারিত্ব আরও সুদৃঢ় করবে বলে আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানের পূর্বে বিভিন্ন দেশের মন্ত্রী ও প্রতিনিধিদের সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ ও দ্বিপাক্ষিক আলোচনায় মিলিত হন উপদেষ্টা জনাব আসিফ মাহমুদ সজীব ভূঁইয়া। আলোচনাকালে বাংলাদেশের যুব উন্নয়ন কৌশল, ডিজিটাল রূপান্তরে অগ্রগতি এবং তরুণদের নেতৃত্ব বিকাশে গৃহীত সরকারি পদক্ষেপের প্রশংসা করেন উপস্থিত প্রতিনিধিরা।

এছাড়াও, মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত, তুরস্ক, জর্ডান, মৌরিতানিয়া, গাম্বিয়া ও জিবুতির অংশগ্রহণকারী মন্ত্রীদের সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন। বৈঠকগুলোতে তাঁরা বাংলাদেশের নতুন অভিযাত্রায় তরুণদের কার্যকর ভূমিকা এবং অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের সময়োপযোগী ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক পদক্ষেপের প্রশংসা করেন।

আলোচনাকালে ওআইসি প্ল্যাটফর্মের অধীনে যুব সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদারের ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা। পাশাপাশি, তিনি আগামী সেপ্টেম্বরে বাংলাদেশে অনুষ্ঠেয় গ্লোবাল ইয়ুথ সামিটে ওআইসিভুক্ত দেশগুলোকে অংশগ্রহণের আমন্ত্রণ জানান।

Adviser to the Minister of Youth and Sports Attends the Opening Ceremony of OIC Youth Capital 2025

With the aim of fostering solidarity, innovation, and the spirit of sustainable development among youth, the OIC Youth Capital International Program 2025 was officially inaugurated on 30 June 2025 in the historic city of Marrakesh, Morocco. This year’s program has been designed in the context of the multidimensional challenges and opportunities facing youth in the Muslim world in the post-COVID-19 era.

Representing Bangladesh at this high-level event, Mr. Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, the Hon’ble Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, attended the inauguration alongside ministers, youth leaders, policymakers, and diplomatic representatives from various OIC member states.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Hon’ble Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication of Morocco. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of strengthening global youth dialogue, fostering social entrepreneurship, and advancing cultural diplomacy among OIC nations.

The event featured a range of impactful segments, including:
• Policy discussions by participating ministers
• Diverse cultural performances representing OIC member countries
• Calls for joint initiatives aimed at mutual cooperation and knowledge exchange, with hopes of reinforcing partnership for youth development within the OIC framework.

Prior to the ceremony, Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan held bilateral and courtesy meetings with several ministers and representatives from participating countries. During the discussions, he highlighted Bangladesh’s youth development strategies, progress in digital transformation, and government-led initiatives to empower young leadership. These efforts were warmly acknowledged and appreciated by the attending dignitaries.

Additionally, the Hon’ble Adviser held one-on-one meetings with ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Jordan, Mauritania, The Gambia, and Djibouti. The ministers praised Bangladesh’s youth-led momentum in its ongoing national transformation and the inclusive, timely actions of the interim government.

During the meetings, Adviser Asif Mahmud emphasized the need to further strengthen youth cooperation under the OIC platform. He also extended an official invitation to OIC member states to participate in the Global Youth Summit, scheduled to be held in Bangladesh this Septembe.
